Eric is a senior member of the CCS compliance team and serves as chief compliance officer for registered investment advisers and registered funds. In this role, Eric is responsible for the creation and management of customized compliance programs by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure Cipperman’s clients adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Eric has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CCS, Eric was a Director of Fund Accounting at SEI Investments for 16 years. In that role, he served as CFO/Treasurer for several fund families and was responsible for delivering accounting, administration, compliance, and client services for registered investment advisers and banking clients. Eric oversaw daily operations for funds registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, such as mutual funds, exchange traded funds and products, and funds-of-funds. He also has extensive experience with various pooled vehicles including collective trust funds, collective investment trusts, controlled foreign corporations, and closed-end funds. Eric has an extensive operational background and leadership experience with regulatory compliance, filings and examinations; the design, implementation, and evaluation of operational workflows and controls; managing service provider relationships; and financial statement production and reviews.

Eric graduated from LaSalle University with a BS degree in finance.

During his time away from CCS, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is a faithful Philly sports fan and enjoys making home improvements, tinkering in the garage, detailing his car, and riding his motorcycle.
