Dianne M. Descoteaux, Esq. is General Counsel at CCS where she is responsible for managing all legal aspects of the business and operations of the firm. Dianne is also a member of the firm’s management team and serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Director on several client engagements.
Dianne has more than 19 years of experience as an attorney in the investment management industry and in private law practice advising clients on compliance issues arising under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
Prior to joining CCS, Dianne was in-house counsel at SEI Investments, where she worked with a wide range of investment advisers in connection with SEI’s $70 Billion series trust mutual fund family. She has also practiced law in the Investment Management Practice groups of Morgan Lewis and Bockius LLP, Morrison & Foerster LLP and Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP.
Dianne is a McKenna Scholar and honors graduate of Claremont McKenna College and earned her law degree at Duke University School of Law.
When not working on legal or compliance matters for CCS or its clients, Dianne enjoys running, spin, yoga, attempting to play the guitar and serving as the world’s biggest cheerleader for the endeavors of her two daughters.
